Hibiscus Tutorial
Materials preparation: crepe paper, iron wire, white latex, paper towels, paper craft tape, scissors.
1. Prepare petal and leaf templates, the size is according to your preference.
2. Cut the crepe paper into two strips according to the width of the petal template, and one strip is covered with white latex.
3. Paste the other strip completely on the glued paper and set aside to dry.
4. Cut out the approximate shape of the leaves according to the leaf template.
5. Coat one piece with glue, place the wire in the middle, and cover with another leaf to make a double-layer leaf.
6. After the leaves are dry, draw the jagged edges of the leaves according to the template.
7. Make four pieces in the same way and cut the leaves.
8. Take a piece of green crepe paper and fold it in half three times.
9. After fixing with long tail clips, cut out the calyx.
10. After the long strips of crepe paper for the petals are dry, draw the petals symmetrically according to the petal template.
11. After cutting the petals, twist each petal into strands in one direction.
12. The same method is used to deal with large leaves and twisted into strands.
13. Unfold the twisted petals and leaves to make them more petal-like.
14. Making small flower buds: Take a piece of toilet paper and cut it in half.
15. Wrap the toilet paper on the iron wire to form a silkworm chrysalis, and apply glue to fix it.
16. Take the petals and cover them with glue, and wrap them on the flower center.
17. A flower bud has about 5-7 petals.
18. After affixing the calyx on the outermost layer, use floral tape to wrap the flower stem from the receptacle.
19. Production of large flowers: Apply glue directly on the petals and wrap them on the wire.
20. Displacement and pasting circle by circle, the number of petals can be increased or decreased according to preference.
21. After the petals are pasted, paste the calyx on the outer layer, and then wrap it with paper art tape.
22. Wrap the prepared leaves in dislocation on the flower stem.
23. Finally, arrange the shape of petals and leaves, and the flowers are completed.
