Materials preparation: Japanese paper (hand rubbed paper), paper towels, iron wire, drop-shaped foam (about 5cm in height and 4.5cm in diameter), paint (watercolor, acrylic), color palette, white glue, scissors, rose petal stencils (large, medium and small) , awl, empty bottle, washi tape.

Production process:

1. Cut out rose petal templates (large, medium and small) in three sizes, and the size is calculated according to the size of the foam ball.


2. There are 5 large petals, 15 medium petals and 13 small petals.


3. To adjust the color of the pigment, first use green to add water to make tender green.


4. Then use red and white to make pink and white.


5. First soak the positive film of the petals in the tender green paint, and then use a paper towel to absorb the excess water.


6. Give a circle of pink on the edge of the petals.


7. Spread the lustrous petals on plastic paper to dry.


8. Wrap the dried petals around the awl and squeeze each petal twice.



9. Stretch the petals with an awl and draw out the arc.



10. Shape the petals of the small petals. The two sides of the petals are slightly curved outwards, and the petal tips are pulled out by hand.



11. Shape the medium-sized petals, and the outward bending arc on both sides of the medium-sized petals is slightly smaller.


12. To shape the large petals, the top of the large petals is curved outward.

13. Sharpen the small end of the foam ball.


14. Spread the small petals with glue and paste them on the bud ball.


15. From the top of the petals, stick it down.


16. There are about five petals in one layer, and they are superimposed and pasted layer by layer to cover the buds.


17. Paste the petals in order from small to large.


18. After the petals are pasted, make the overall shape.


19. Insert the wire into the bottom of the flower.


20. Wrap thickened flower stems with paper towels at the receptacle.


21. Cut out the calyx shape with green washi paper, five pieces are needed.


22. The roll is squeezed twice on the awl and opened.


23. Use scissors to cut out the shape of the edge of the calyx.


24. Paste the calyx evenly on the bottom of the flower.


25. To make leaves, coat the thin iron wire with glue,


26. Paste it on the square paper, wrap the square paper around the iron wire and fold it in half.


27. Cut out the zigzag shape of the rose leaves.


28. Open the cut leaves and use your nails to draw veins on them.



29. A large leaf needs three small leaves.



30. Fix the three finished leaves on the thin iron wire with paper art tape in order from largest to smallest,Open the finished leaves and adjust the shape.



31. Fix the dislocation of the large leaves on the flower stem with paper art tape.


32. Finally, adjust the shape of the whole bunch of flowers.
